Rainbow®
Pulse CO-Oximetry II
Willow’s Rainbow Technology, first launch in 2005 is used in leading hospitals and healthcare settings worldwide, monitors millions of patients each year. Rainbow technology has been shown in numerous studies to significantly reduce mortality and cost of care.
Rainbow II Parameters

Rainbow Technology extends conventional pulse oximetry into a comprehensive, noninvasive blood constituent monitoring system. Instead of measuring only oxygen saturation (SpO₂) and pulse rate, it uses multiple additional light wavelengths and proprietary signal processing to continuously assess a broader set of physiological parameters, including total hemoglobin. Rainbow technology enhances patient safety, supports more informed clinical decisions, and reduces the burden of discrete testing across a wide range of care settings.

Rainbow Advantages
Rainbow Technology transforms pulse oximetry from a basic oxygen monitor into a multi-parameter, real-time blood assessment platform. By leveraging multi-wavelength spectroscopy and advanced signal processing, it enhances patient safety, supports more informed clinical decisions, and reduces the burden of invasive testing across a wide range of care settings.
-
Noninvasive & Continuous. Reduces reliance on repeated blood draw and lab tests
-
Provides multi-parameter data from a single sensor
-
Enables earlier intervention based on trending physiologic changes
-
Faster clinical assessment without waiting for lab results
